Search analyst Hitwise revealed that terms related to the iPad 3 accounted for nearly one in every 2000 searches carried out in the UK as the world gets ready for tomorrow’s launch.

According to data crunched by the company, iPad 3 accounted for nearly one in every five queries containing the word iPad, six times more searches than for the iPad 2.

In addition, nearly one in every five searches associated with the iPad 3 over the last quarter contained the term release.

Hitwise also noted that there has been a spike in searches around the Apple TV with the third and fourth fastest moving terms by volume in the UK were for “Apple TV 3″ and “new apple TV”.
